About the workshop
ACTT designed this workshop to support communities in planning for the energy future and participating in the transition to renewable energy in a way that maximally aligns with local priorities and benefits the local community.
Community-driven energy solutions are planned and implemented with community participation at the center of the process and align with local priorities, build local equity, leadership, and empowerment, and multi solve intersecting front-burner issues while taking advantage of local opportunities.
This workshop focuses on supporting participants in developing an understanding of what community-driven renewable energy solutions are and the role they can play in addressing energy vulnerability and inequity and then playing a game designed to facilitate participants in identifying the renewable energy solutions most relevant to their community’s specific needs.
