Are you interested in playing a role in creatively addressing climate change in your local community? Are you eager to participate in building a groundswell of local progress in resistance to the federal government’s dismissal of climate change and climate action? Would you like to come together in community to envision and then realize the possibility for positive change, supporting each other in making an impactful contribution?

Cultivate a Climate Solution is a four-week program designed to provide structure, guidance, support, and collaborative community for individuals who are interested in building achievable, impactful climate solutions locally. Participants are encouraged to come to the group with an idea for a project or initiative and a readiness to workshop other participants' ideas to empower creative approaches to community climate action! The program sessions are crafted to center discussion, collaboration, and to provide inspiration while also supporting participants through  thoughtfully planning steps to implement impactful projects.

Throughout the course of four sessions and one one-on-one session with ACTT staff, participants will engage in a process that will include taking stock of community needs, strengths, and setting effective and achievable goals; grounding project concepts and building pathways and partnerships for success; exploring theories of change and effective movement-building; and designing a strategy for project implementation and continuation. Each session will offer a combination of facilitated activities and reflections and time for open discussion/idea cultivation. This is a free, month-long program. Meeting time and location are to be determined by the needs of those who are interested in participation.
